How to prepare for your in-home couples session

In home sessions aren’t for everyone, some people prefer to have their photos taken in the great outdoors, or deep in the city. I believe that each session should be tailored to the couple-so if you are a pair who love to be at home playing board games, watching Netflix and snuggling rather then tromping through the forest- then maybe an In-home session is right for you!
So what is an in-home session?
I help you plan your in home session by chatting with you about what you and your boo enjoy doing together and then we base your session off that. If you enjoy board games then you will definitely be having a game, if you bake together then lets make some cookies- game together? Let’s do some game themed photos. In home sessions are all about capturing you in your natural element, and telling your story.

How to prepare your space:
Quick clean up: No I don’t mean scrubbing the floors, dusting and cleaning every nook and cranny….because honestly who has time for that? Just do an overall house cleanup, especially in the areas we will be shooting most: Living room, bedroom and kitchen.
Prepare your chosen activity: whatever activity we have chatted through and chose have it all ready for when I arrive! If thats baking, maybe prepare your batter/cookie dough before hand!
Get a playlist ready: the songs you and your babe love- get those ready and we will get the music pumping!
