Intimate Summer Wedding at Lake on the Mountain Prince Edward County

Court and Cam’s wedding was one for the books! Carriage Lane Elopements beautifully brought C&C’s wedding dreams to life with care and attention to each detail.

I started off the day by entering a room filled with excited chatter and laughter- Court’s bridal sweet where she was getting the finishing touches on her hair and makeup done before she slipped into her elegant dress. Down at the boathouse Cam was hanging out with his groomsmen and getting some smiles from his little son, Keaton, as he excitedly waiting for his beautiful bride.

And then it was time-that moment everyone holds their breathe for on wedding days- time for the groom to lay his eyes on his bride for the first time that day as she floats down the aisle. There was tears in many eyes as they witnessed the pure love and bond C & C have. The way he looked at her as she walked up the aisle- straight out of a fairy tale. It is such an honor for me to capture and witness such intimate moments between couples and the ones closest to them.

Following a beautiful ceremony filled with promises of forever- C&C slipped away for a little sip in the boathouse- a chance to breathe in the fact that they did it- they just said I do! We then headed out to do a first dance under the gorgeous county trees- Keaton joined Mommy and Daddy on the dance floor and it was the sweetest thing to witness.

Photos with friends and family important to C & C took place next- Keaton nailed it with the biggest smiles. Family photos with your loved ones are such a beautiful keepsake from your wedding day- I like to keep them moving smoothly and quickly for my couples and their guests.
