Romantic Summer Wedding at Lake on the Mountain | Bryar and Adam

Lake on the Mountain located in the heart of Prince Edward County Bryar and Adam, a couple hailing all the way from Newfoundland, embarked on a journey of love and commitment. It was a summer day painted with the perfect strokes of sunshine, not a cloud in the sky, setting the stage for an intimate celebration of love amongst swaying county trees.

The venue, Lake on the Mountain, stood as a picturesque backdrop, captivating the couple with its undeniable charm. The choice was clear – the beauty of Prince Edward County had cast its spell on them. With friends laughing, the air filled with bubbly conversations, and the scent of fresh florals (from @bloomocity) lingering, the scene was set for a day filled with love, puppy cuddles(scroll down to see pictures of Ace), and cherished moments.
Bryar and Adam's love story unfolded against the stunning backdrop of Lake on the Mountain. As a photographer specializing in small weddings, I had the absolute honor of capturing every fleeting moment of their special day. But this wasn't just any wedding; it was an intimate celebration focused on their love(and their pup), the closest friends and family coming together to support these two-ahhh swoon worthy.

What made this celebration truly unique was the inclusion of their fur baby, Ace, who accompanied them on this beautiful journey. As they exchanged vows, Ace stood witness, a loyal companion adding an extra layer of warmth to the ceremony. Well..that is until he got a little too energetic and went and did summersaults in the grass-so cute.

Adding a touch of cinematic magic, Bryar and Adam basically recreated a scene straight out of "The Notebook," taking photos in a little boat. The symbolism of navigating the waters of life together was not lost on me and I absolutely love that the photos represent that.
The day was punctuated by special moments that reflected Bryar and Adam's personalities and the uniqueness of their love story. A mother-daughter dance added a sweet and emotional note to the celebration, highlighting the deep connection between generations. It was a dance that spoke volumes, echoing the timeless bonds of family and love. I may have shed a tear or two.

In a private moment following the ceremony, Bryar and Adam stole away to the boathouse for a quiet sip, just the two of them. It was a chance to let the reality sink in – they were now married. This little interlude allowed them to savour the joy newly married and provided an opportunity for me to capture some truly candid and heartfelt photographs- so fun!

As a photographer, the trust my clients place in me to document their special day is something I cherish deeply. Bryar and Adam allowed me to capture their moments without intrusion, creating a collection of images that reflect the authenticity of their love. The day was not just about the vows they exchanged but also about the unspoken moments, the stolen glances, and the shared laughter.
For future couples planning their wedding, Bryar and Adam offer a valuable piece of advice – trust your team. Trusting the professionals involved in bringing their vision to life allowed them to relax and fully immerse themselves in the joy of the day. It's a reminder that, on your wedding day, you should be free to revel in the love and celebrate the start of a new chapter.
To the vendors who played a crucial role in making this day unforgettable, a heartfelt thank you. Carriage Lane Elopements orchestrated the event seamlessly, bringing together a team of talented professionals to create a day filled with beauty and love. Bloomocity Florals adorned the venue with breathtaking floral arrangements, adding an extra touch of elegance. Craig Logan Officiating officiated the ceremony, guiding Bryar and Adam through their vows with grace and warmth. And, of course, the stunning venue, Lake on the Mountain, provided the perfect canvas for this romantic celebration.

Thankyou Bryar and Adam for allowing me to take part in your beautiful day! LOVE LOVE LOVED your day!
